I have not received the letter from state concerning the motor vehicle property tax adjustment, but I called the WV tax line and lady said to put amount on line 21 of state IT-40 form. I see this on forms, but cannot type amount in. It will not let me enter amount. In the regular program it just asks if I received a letter and does not give me an option if I did not but still want to claim amount.
