Question

My 1099-INT came to me a couple days after filing my taxes online, how do I file amended form for a 1099-INT OF 45.00?

Nowhere on the Amended form is a place to indicate 1099-INT FOR TAX YEAR 2024

    If you are using the 2024 version of TurboTax, then the amended Form 1040X that is created will have your original 2024 tax return information included and the year being amended is shown on the actual form just below the words US in the title of the form.  

     

    There is nothing that you need to do to indicate that it is a 2024 amended return because the program will do that for you.
