OMG! My frustration is through the roof, I've always been able to file my taxes and go on about my life, but because of this stimulus mess, I have to amend my taxes for the 1st time. This is really causing my loads of stress.

I'm curious as to why you have to amend a return because of the stimulus payments. You simply need to enter the payments you received on your 2020 tax return.

The stimulus payments are based on your 2020 tax return, even if your situation changed this year. If you received extra payments based on your 2019 tax return, you will not need to repay them.
