Question

My 2020 8606 has an incorrect total basis (line 14) I erroneously changed it from what TT had and now realize my mistake. Unfortunately, I e-filed the return. Ideas?

Is it important to correct the basis or can I just correct it next year when I do my 2021 return?

You will not be able to amend your tax return until it has been accepted by the IRS.  Please see the TurboTax FAQ here for more information on amending a 2020 tax return.
