My 2020 Amended Return e-filed on Turbotax was rejected. Can I refile a new amended on the website?

I only see instructions to download the Amend software but I don't know how to e-file or transmit my return on the amend software. How can I amend this again on the website? Or can someone help me how to file this electronically on the 2020 Amend software?

Yes, you can send in a second amended tax return. You have to be able to work from the first return exactly the way it was when it was e-filed originally. To complete the second amendment you will need to manipulate your return by deleting the Form 1040X, which will leave you with a 1040 "original" return that includes the changes from the first amended return. Then, you will start the amend process over again to put in the information needed for the second amendment.
