My 2020 my Federal return was accepted, I added a dependent which changed my state return. The federal return they are showing me is now wrong. How can I fix this?

The only way to fix that is to remove the dependent, then leave it that way until you are ready to amend the federal return.  It shouldn't hurt your correct state return and you will not choose to amend the state return.  Print your state return or save the .pdf copy to your saved documents before you make the changes.

TurboTax will have the amendment ready later this month so you have time to change the return back to the way it was. Read the information carefully at these links before you begin to amend.
