My 2024 eFile was rejected by IRS and TurboTax says it was because of incorrect 2023 Gross Adjusted Income

I just filed a 2024 return electronically, and it was rejected by IRS.

TurboTax says:

"The IRS couldn't confirm your identity.

It looks like the AGI amount amount you used to e-file you federal return wasn't a match to what the IRS has in their database."

The AGI amount was prefilled in by TurboTax from the 2023 TuboTax file.

I double checked it and the AGI matches what is on line 11 of the 1040 on the PDF copy of the 2023 return.

It is 2 digits, a comma, and 3 digits with a period.

What else can be the problem?

THIS IS AN EDIT AFTER TRYING xmasbaby0's reply.

Replacing the 2023 AGI with "0." worked.

Don't know why, but can't question success.

    Try using zero instead.

I also had the same problem using the "FREE" online Turbo Tax version since I had a simple W2 to file.  I had my 2023 1040 form and entered the line 11 AGI, and several times, IRS rejected the e-file.  Luckily, I also purchased a Deluxe version of the software, which I used to import the 2023 tax file in, which shows the SAME AGI I entered for online.   I submitted the e-file from here, and received text message from IRS that my federal return was ACCEPTED.  So is "FREE" turbo tax not submitting the CORRECT AGI number to the IRS ?  Why would it accept the e-file from the paid version of turbo tax, and not the "FREE" version ????  Perhaps the Amazing Kreskin knows.....

I have used TurboTax Deluxe for several years.

I have never used the free version.

I used it in 2023 and 2024 for myself and a couple of family members.

My 1st submission for myself on 1/31/2025 was accepted using the actual 2023 AGI.

The 1st submission for another family member on 2/16/2025 was rejected with the "incorrect 2023 AGI".

So, it is not a function of the "free" TurboTax.

The 2nd submission with a 2023 AGI of "0." submitted a couple of hours later was successful.

I don't understand it, but it is what it is.

Thanks for the update.  This was the first time ever using the "FREE" version (to give it a try).  After submitting using Deluxe version, I read some more posting in this Community, and saw comments about entering "$0" for last year's AGI, and that seemed to work.  Will try this next year.  I now have to file the VA state by mail since you cannot efile this separately from the Federal return, and my Deluxe version already loaded the NY state form.
