Are you sure that you selected to receive a paper check in the mail? You can double check to see which method you selected by following the instructions below:

  1. Open your return if it's not already open.
  2. On the Tax Home screen with the amount of your refund and status, scroll down and select Add a State (don't worry, we're not adding a state) to access your tax forms and worksheets.
  3. In the left menu, select Tax Tools then Print Center.
  4. On the TurboTax Print Center screen, select Print, save or preview this year's return.
  5. On the next TurboTax Print Center screen, select 2019 federal returns and Include Government and TurboTax Worksheets (optional), then select View or Print Forms.
  6. The information will be on the first page, Electronic Filing Instructions for your 2019 Federal Tax Return next to Balance Due/Refund."

If indeed you selected a paper check as your refund, keep in mind that it can take a few weeks before your refund is sent to you. You can reach out to the IRS for more informationWhat if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days?

Turbo Tax doesn't know when or if the IRS mailed it.  The IRS doesn't update Turbo Tax after they get your return.  Does your account say Ready to Mail?  Was your return Accepted?

Did you go all the way through the File tab, through the 3 steps and hit the big orange Transmit Returns Now button?

You can check your efile status here

https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/

When you efile you get back 2 emails.  The first email only confirms the transmission.  The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.

When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc.  What does it say?
