My check has not got here and we were supposed to get it april the 1st

You could receive it within 1-5 business days so keep an eye out for it. Most financial institutions take time to receive refunds from the IRS. You can see more information on this topic here: https://www.irs.gov/individuals/refund-timing.   

 

The IRS is in the process of keeping up with helping taxpayers, processing returns and issuing refunds to the "greatest extent possible."
