Question

My college needs a signed 2018 tax return. When I go to my documents for 2018 and download them, it is the same form I sent to my college and is unsigned. Where is it???

If you efiled, then you submitted it with an electronic signature. There is no signed physical copy. If the college wants a signed form, then print a copy of it, and you can use a pen and sign it in the signature section.

That should be sufficient for their purposes. But if they want more than that, there should also be a page in the PDF called "Electronic Postmark" that shows when it was efiled and accepted.
