My company folded 6/24. I have not received any W-2 yet as of Jan 29th, today. How & where to obtain?

Turbo Tax does not have a copy of your W-2, but your employer may provide it.

If the W-2 is not available, here are the steps to take.

1. Contact your employer  
   1. You may not be able to because they're out of business.
   2.  but make an attempt to Contact your employer to see if the W-2 has ben sent, and request a duplicate.
2. Go online, many employers have an online service to provide document like W-2's.
3. If you have a pay stub you may be able to contact the payroll service.
4. Contact the IRS:  If you could not get it from your employer you can contact the IRS.
   1. You can call toll-free at 1-800-829-1040 or contact a Taxpayer Assistance Center Local IRS Office.
   2. You can request a transcript
   3. You must provide your
      1. name,
      2. address, city and state (including zip code),
      3. Social Security Number,
      4. phone number,
      5. Employer’s name,
      6. address, city and state (including zip code), and
      7. employer's phone number
   4. Their may be a fee.
5. As a last resort, if you have a pay stub you ban complete a for 4852 Substitute for Form W-2
