Question

My e-filings are getting rejected

I am a first time e-filer. I am e-filing federal and state forms. I have been rejected twice with the message

IND-031-04 - The primary taxpayer's AGI or Self-select PIN from last year does not match IRS records.

I know my AGI amount is correct. Since I am a 1st time e-filer, there cant be a PIN number to compare to.

Why are my returns being rejected? How can I correct so my e-files are not rejected?

Please advise.

As a first time filer you do not have a 2019 AGI.     Use 0 == zero.

I am having the same exact problem and message except that I did file for 2019 using Turbo Tax. I am not sure what to do. I have changed quite a few things but I always get the same rejection message. What can I do? My AGI is correct. What I am not sure of are my IDs. How can I verify if the IDs are correct?

Any help would be really appreciated. This is getting a little frustrating now.

    Thanks.
