My employer has the wrong SSN on my W2, I notified them & they will send in Corrected-W2 w/correct SSN, can I still e-file using original W2 putting in my correct SSN?

I want to know if I can still e-file using the original W2 but using my correct SSN when my employer sends in the Corrected-W2?

Yes, but don't send it until you have received the corrected W-2. You want to know that the IRS has the correct information on file before you transmit your completed return. If you wait until you have the corrected copy, you can verify all information is correct before transmitting. Otherwise, your return may be unnecessarily rejected.
