Question

My employer notified me that the W-2s that I received was incorrect, he only now have me the correct one however I had already filed my taxes. How can I fix this?

You will want to amend your return in order to fix this issue. Since your return is filed, you'll have wait until it is either accepted or rejected.

  • If your return is accepted you can amend your return.
  • If your return is rejected, you can make the necessary changes.
