Question

My employer used an incorrect SSN. I now have a W-2c with "Previously reported SSN" and "Employee's correct SSN" - Where do I amend this? What is the next step?

My employer used an incorrect social security number - off by one digit. They realized this mistake well after I had completed my taxes for the year with TurboTax. I now have a W-2c with "Previously reported SSN" and "Employee's correct SSN" - Where do amend this? What is the next step

This is nothing that needs to be amended.

Thank you for the response - Do I need to mail the w-2c's to the state/feds? It doesn't matter that my original w2's have an incorrect SSN?
