Question

My estimated refund date was on 2/17. Based on my TurboTax account it went through. I don't see it in my bank.

Where does it show you that it went through? Mine isn't giving me any details. Did you claim EITC or Child Tax?

Also, it could be that your bank hasn't processed it so you may see it by 5pm today, or after midnight tonight.

TurboTax only provides an estimated refund date based on the average amount of time it has taken other taxpayers to receive their refunds.

You can track the status of your return on the IRS Where's My Refund? site. That is where you will find the most up-to-date information regarding the status of your tax return and a specific date of when to expect your refund.
Per the IRS, most refunds are received within 21 days from the time a return has been accepted and a refund option is selected.

Also, if you claimed the Earned Income Credit (EITC) or the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC), that may be why you are seeing a delay as the IRS could not begin processing those until after February 15. Per the IRS website, Where’s My Refund? will be updated with projected deposit dates for most early EITC/ACTC refund filers by February 22. So EITC /ACTC filers will not see an update to their refund status for several days after Feb. 15.
