Question

My fed taxes are all most done, but i still cant get all of my data transferred. how do i get 2022 data to my 2023 file?

You can only Transfer from 2022 into a new blank return.  So you would need to start over to transfer 2022. 

Why didn't you transfer 2022 at the beginning when you started?  

 

 Are you in the same account as last year?  Or did you use the Desktop program?  Where is your 2022 return?  If you used the Desktop program it should be in you Documents in a Turbo Tax folder and ends in .tax2022. 

 

What items do you need to transfer?  You either need to start over or manually enter anything from 2022 you need like a Capital Loss Carryover.
