My friend filed after me with child tax credit & received it before I did. If if my state refund is being reviewed is my federal as well?

TurboTax never knows if your return is under review by the IRS or the state.   The IRS/states do not tell TT if your return is under review.

You are always going to find someone else whose refund arrived faster, and someone who waited even longer than you.  That is the way it goes. Returns are not processed “first in — first out.”

You need to check the IRS refund site for information.

Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
