Question

My income is lower now than in 2019. Can i still qualify for a stimulus check?

Nice question but the first stimulus check will only look at 2018 or 2019 returns.

When you file the 2020 tax return in early 2021, you may be eligible to receive a credit on your tax return based on your 2020 income instead of the stimulus payments being made currently.  Unfortunately, you will not be able to take advantage of this until the 2020 return is filed.
