Question

My landlord is asking for my tax return and a letter from the preparer to confirm that it is accurate. How do I request TurboTax for the letter as I filed online.

@saneja1984 - no one is going to write you a letter that it is accurate! Since you are the one that entered the data, the return is only as accurate as the data you entered.

Suggest giving the landlord a copy of the return and state it was self-prepared, which is truthful. (print off the return and sign it). Note above your signature it states to the best of your knowledge it is accurate, complete and correct. bring that to the landlords' attention.
