My original amended refund was never received. So the irs are re-sending a new one. How long will this process take before I receive the new one?

They re-processed it today. Will I receive it within a week or two? Or after a whole six weeks

Did you talk to the IRS?

agreeing to replace a check is just the first step.

The IRS goes through their process, and a check will be approved.

Then you need to get on the next check-mailing cycle.

Then you have to wait for US Mail.

Don't hold your breath.
