My refund was already sent to bank, but the routing number is incorrect, what do I do?

How do I correct my routing number if refund is already sent to bank?

You cannot change the bank information after the tax return has been filed.

The bank will reject the tax refund and send the refund back to the IRS. The IRS will mail a refund check to the address entered on the tax return.
