My refund was over $1700, I activated my card and it’s showing zero

Does the IRS Where’s My Federal Refund? site show your refund was sent? The IRS has to process and send your refund before it posts to your card.

Where’s My Refund? has a tracker that displays progress through 3 stages:

(1) Return Accepted "Received," (2) Refund Approved and (3) Refund Sent.

If your refund does show sent by the IRS, it can take 1 to 5 business days for the financial institution to deposit fund into your account.
