Question

My routing number is 9 digits long, but I keep getting an error code that says it's too long. Can anyone help me with this?

I am trying to file electronically and this same routing number has always worked before for the last 20 years, but suddenly it's being rejected as being too long. It's exactly 9 digits.

Where are you trying to correct it? Instead of a Fix-It box, so back to the actual interview screen, highlight the entire routing number box, and click Delete to be sure all digits are erased. There could be a stray blank digit in there. Then carefully re-enter the digits and don't enter a space at the end.
