Question

My son wants to file (not amend) his 2023 return, to get a refund from the part time work he did in high school, which included a summer camp gig in Canada, but.. $80?

The cost to file his return is about half of what his refund will be, and his income was only about $4000. Is there no option for starving students?

    Not with TurboTax.   You might want to google other free tax software that might offer past year filing.
