My state is showing up to be amended. I didn't amend anything. So why is it showing up to be filed as amended?

Why would I file amended if my w-2s and 1099s aren't amended.

When you did your state return there were a couple of questions about whether or not you needed to amend your state tax return. One of them is out of whack. So you need to either go back through the questions on the state return and check your answers or delete your state return and start over on it.
