The information that you provided does not match what's on the system. Actually the account number includes your Social Security Number. What that means is that the company that prepared your return routed the refund to them and then to you. This is a situation where you will need to contact the company that completed your return.

TurboTax does not and cannot receive any kind of tax refund, federal or state.  TurboTax is not a bank or any other type of financial institution.  TurboTax is a software company.

If you used TurboTax to complete and file the state tax return, the tax return is self-prepared using the TurboTax software.

If you requested a direct deposit of the state tax refund, the bank routing and account number you entered for direct deposit was sent with the state tax return.  The FTB will send the state tax refund to the bank account you entered.  If the bank information was not correct the bank will reject the direct deposit and send the refund back to the state.  The state will then mail a refund check to the address on the tax return.

Contact the California FTB and speak with an agent concerning your state tax refund - https://www.ftb.ca.gov/help/contact/index.html
