Check for a state refund     <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund">https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund</a>
Make sure you are using the refund amount from your actual state tax return and not the combined amount Turbo Tax showed you at the end.  That was for federal and state combined.

Only the state tax agency will know what all they are doing with your state return.  Some states are quick with refunds, while others (such as GA, WV, CO, AL, and others) can take quite a long time--even several weeks--as they crack down on fraudulent returns.

However, we can tell you some things to check.

If you efiled the state return, use the tool below to double-check that the state return was successfully efiled and accepted:

https://shop.turbotax.intuit.com/efile/efile_status_lookup.jsp

If that confirms it was accepted, or if you mailed the state return, then here's how to check the status of a state refund.

TIP:  While you are at the state tax website, see if they have a notice or FAQ on how long it usually takes to get a refund in your state and how long to wait before calling them.  .
