Please clarify your question.

  • Please tell us what error is occurring?
  • What state is it?
  • What software do you have?

Please contact us again to provide some additional details.

The tax form asked if I had updated furnace/air conditioning this year I did.  Asked what I paid, $16000. Didn’t like only can put $5000.  This Idaho.  If a problem I just want it omitted. Also I never saw it but insurance for medical I paid this past year was…dental and medical $4635.42.
I need to fix this before it goes out.  Please help.   TurboTax wasn’t as easy as the previous year.

Updating your HVAC may qualify you for federal energy credits and/or state credits. These credits can reduce your tax liability. See How do I enter Home Energy Tax Credits?

For the medical expenses, those are entered in the federal section under deductions and credits.
