My tax refund was supposed to be direct deposit but now is coming as check?

My tax refund was supposed to be sent direct deposit but it says it was unsuccessful and now has to be sent by check. How come it can't be direct deposited now? Yes, my bank information was correct.

As stated on this IRS website - https://www.irs.gov/refunds

 

If you got a paper check instead of direct deposit, it’s because:

  • The account is not under your name, your spouse's name or a joint account
  • Your financial institution rejected a direct deposit
  • You requested more than 3 electronic refunds into 1 account
