My tax return is still staying pending I file back in Jan

If you are looking at the IRS tracking web site, does it say pending or processing? Once a tax return is efiled, it usually only takes 24-48 hours for the return to change from pending to either accepted or rejected. Was your return efiled and was it accepted?

If it was accepted, you can check the status at the IRS web site: https://www.irs.gov/refunds

If it was rejected or there is no evidence that it was ever filed, then your return has never been filed unless you printed and mailed it yourself.
