My tax transcript has a 810 followed by 811 and 971. All with dates of 2/13. What does this mean? When I check my refund on wheres my refund it gives me the pathact mess

These are codes that the IRS uses to update your tax transcript.

  • 810 is refund freeze. This means your refund is subject to a delay in processing.
  • 811 is refund release. This means your refund has been released from the refund freeze.
  • 971 is notice issued. This means that you will receive a letter from the IRS regarding your return.
