I tried to e-file my taxes on 03/27 and my parents got upset saying that theres would be rejected for they have not filed yet, they can and do claim me a dependent. My e-file was rejected. Can my parents now file without getting rejected? I am not going to fix and resend mine until my parents do theres,  I am very stressed about this and hoping my parents can file without any issues I would like to know if this is the case?

the rejection of your return should have no effect on their ability to e-file.  and your filing first and being rejected unlikely had anything to do with them not filing before you. my son always files before me and I never had a problem with e-filing my return.  if you post your entire reject message and code, if any, we may be able to help you successfully efile.
