My TurboTax says my federal was approved and the irs tool says being processed. Its been like 16 days. Wheres my refund

No, TT said it was Accepted (for processing). Approved is a later step. TT gets no further updates once the IRS has your filing. The IRS is seriously backlogged, and is even still dealing with several million 2019 returns left over from the COVID shutdown. In addition, the Where's My Refund site has been erratic and unreliable. Lots of folks are waiting, so please continue to be patient. Also see:
