So you started a 2019 return in Online TurboTax last year but didn't finish? If so, since you already paid for a 2019 product, you can ask Customer Support for a courtesy download of the 2019 desktop software to install on your computer. Then you can download the *.tax2019 data file from your Online Account and open it in the 2019 desktop software to continue working on it.

The 2019 return cannot be efiled. It has to be printed, signed, dated, and mailed. It's recommended to mail by a method that has tracking such as Certified Return Receipt, Priority Mail, etc. If you have both Federal and state returns, mail them separately to the respective tax agencies.

Support hours are 5AM-9PM Pacific (8AM-12 Midnight Eastern) 7 days/week.
