First let's figure out if you need to amend or start over. You do not amend your tax return unless you already filed it, it was accepted, and fully processed, and then you need to make a change or correction. If it has not yet been filed for the first time, then you do NOT click on the word "amend."

Before you do anything else, please tell us what you have done so far. Is this for 2018?

I know I have to restart mine... Messed up bad, would you please explain how?

@Tom1221 If you have NOT e-filed you can clear and start over. If you e-filed you cannot "restart."
