New York State tax status page shows 0 was requested

Dear Community,

I used TurboxTax to file for my 2020 tax and 2021 taxes.

I filed my 2021 tax for Federal and NY statea on Feb 4th, both return were also accepted on the 4th.

I checked the New York state tax few times and it kept saying infomration entered does not match the records. I ensured I entered the same amount that was show on my tax return for NY state tax.

I then tried and put a 0 in my return with my information, and it shows 0 was requested.

My question is :

Is there a system delay that causes my return not to show up in the system? Or TurboTax incorrectly passed the information to NY state ? (I don't think so, because the amount was correctly reflected on my tax return).

TurboTax only sends the information that you enter to the state. If your tax return as received by New York shows a different refund amount for this year than the return that you sent OR if your AGI from last year does not match what is in the NY system then it is possible NY made an adjustment to your tax return. You would need to contact NY to find that information.
