Question

No other refund options?

So far I have chosen to have my TT filing fees deducted from my federal return, but the only options for refund types are the two Karma accounts and direct deposit. I was hoping to see the prepaid card option as a way to receive my refund. Are they not offering that this year? I no longer have access to my bank account, so I can't use direct deposit, and I am not wanting to open another account (Karma) at this time. I would even accept a check, but I don't see that option either. Please advise.

Go to the store and buy a prepaid debit card then use the DD information to that card to get the refund deposited on that debit card.

"I would even accept a check, but I don't see that option either."

If you do not choose direct deposit and do not enter any banking information, it automatically defaults to mailing you a check.  The IRS mails the check to the address on your tax return.

But as @Critter-3 suggested, you can go to Walmart, a drugstore, etc. and just purchase one of those prepaid Mastercards or Visas if you want to and use that.
