On my original tax return I filed I had no issues with the Employer EIN on the return, but on my amended one it’s saying the same EIN is incorrect?! Help!

I am amending my return to add a w2, but cannot for the life of me figure out the first w2 I had on my accepted return, is now saying the EIN is incorrect. The reason I’m amending it is to add a W2 and get more money back: has someone else dealt with this? Please help!

If you have saved your original return (which is recommended) before amending it, you can print the documents to see what was entered prior. If you did not save it, you can clear the amended return and go back and save/download your original return for review.
