Question

Once a return is accepted how long after work it take for me to receive a letter from IRS if more information is needed?

My status still shows the PATH ACT delay message with one bar and has not updated yet people who filed after me are getting theirs this week.

    In my experience, it takes about 8-10 weeks to receive a letter from the IRS if more information is needed.  Just keep checking the IRS Where's My Refund? site for any updates.
