One of the questions says that I need to add my deductions and put it with the state tax

TurboTax Live Self Employed

Before preparing your State Tax Return, make sure you have entered all your Deductions & Credits in your Federal return.

These will then carry over into your state return. Then, when going through your state interview, you may be asked about additional deductions that apply only to your state.

Click on 'Deductions & Credits' at the top of your Federal return. You will then have a choice to have TurboTax walk you through this section, or to see a listing and choose specific ones you want to look at.
