Our Alabama state tax refund for 2015 has not been received due to an audit notice. How do I show that I haven't received that income?

You don't have to show that you haven't received it. It is not taxable until your receive it. Once the audit is over and you (hopefully) receive your refund, it will be taxable in the year you receive it.
