This is a new pitch that obviously they never committed to. My TT deposit date is today 2/21. Then it states they cannot provide my 5 days early deposit. They are getting worse every year. Going back to Taxact next year.

Remember that the “”5 day early” date is based on the date given to you on the IRS refund site—-not the date the TT site shows in your account.   If your refund does not come in five days ahead of the IRS date, they are supposed to cancel the $25 fee.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

I filed on January 29th. I have been filing taxes for almost 30 years. Fairly familiar with the basics. TT 5 days is a sham. I'll go back to TaxAct going forward. 25% off of your filing if you file through PayPal. Not to mention I lost $10,000 in returns in 2019 because of the lack of help from the max benefits I paid for. All the add ones they claim to provide. Are not provided. Thanks for clarifying nothing. TurboTax sucks. I have and will continue to tell that to my 1.2 million subscribers. Help get the honest word out on a company that is honestly as shiesty as they come.
