Paying fees with tax refund.

Long story short. When opt in to paying turboTax fees with your tax return. The third-party receive the refund first. The third-party received my refund from the IRS on the 21st and nothing has posted to my account yet and it’s the 24th. I got my state 24th at 12. The third-party holds the money. Don’t recommend paying turboTax fees with refund. Yes the bank can see deposits up to a week.

Where's my Refund is the most accurate information as it is directly from the IRS. Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing of your return or the release of your refund. The TurboTax site can only update if the information is provided for the software to update. This doesn't always happen so the information shown on TurboTax could be behind.

The IRS is who is issuing your refund, not TurboTax, so the IRS has the most up to date information.

I don’t need help with finding my refund. I’ve personally went to the third-party who handles TurboTax fees and saw the process of my refund. My refund transcript told me deposit date of the 24th the third-party receive my deposit on the 21st and held it.

Again, I don’t need help I’m warning others about the process. I do not recommend paying your tax fees with your tax refund simple.
