PC Only or Laptop as well

hello,

I purchased the 2024 intuit standard package. I didn't realize that it said for PC only. Does this mean that it will not download and work on a laptop? I haven't opened it to try, hoping to return if I can't use it on my laptop.

Are there two different versions? One for laptops and one for PCs?

I'm perplexed as the packaging does not provide sufficient information nor does it provide contact information in order to enquire. (Also, the drop down doesn't list Standard, so i selected basic)

Desktop download software works on a full PC or a laptop that has Windows or a Mac OS. You cannot use desktop software on a Chromebook, iPad, phone, or any other kind of mobile device.
