I checked my transcripts and I have a processing date of 2/10/20. Only wmr on the IRS website says we received and still processing but no bars or date. Anyone have an idea how long after the processing date of 2/10 I should receive?

If your return was accepted less than 21 days ago, hang in there. It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to go from acceptance to approval.

Turbotax gives an estimated date based on the IRS's 21 day timeframe. So it all depends on the IRS and how fast your tax return moves along in the system. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. The blue line/ bar, when filled just means that the IRS has accepted your return.

For the most up to date information, visit the Where’s My Federal Refund? site.  You may also download the IRS2Go app to check your Federal refund status

Where’s My Refund? has a tracker that displays progress through 3 stages:

(1) Return Accepted "Received," (2) Refund Approved and (3) Refund Sent.

Continue checking the Where’s My Federal Refund?  tool for updates. Updates are made daily, usually overnight. You may also download the IRS2Go app to check your Federal refund status.

When will I get my IRS tax refund?

My return was actually accepted over a month ago.  I believe it was 1/15 which I know was before the IRS started processing.

Accepted means your return was received by the government and the basics like your social security number seem to be in order.

After acceptance, the next step is for the government to approve your refund.
