Question about extra payment vouchers.

So I owe federal taxes in the amount of $3236.  I opted for a payment plan with $836 the initial amount and I entered my checking acct number for direct withdrawal for $600. I’m a W2.

When I got my return back I got a payment stub for $836 as expected but I got 4 other payment vouchers for $1900 spaced out with due dates every 3 months.  My question is do I submit the 836 stub and ignore the other 4 vouchers?  Or will IRS take the 836 directly from my checking?

Check the four vouchers.  I think they're for 2020 so that you don't get caught in the same situation as this year.

Provided it was done properly the $836 will be withdrawn from your account by the IRS.
