In TurboTax Online, review your status as a real estate professional by following these steps:

• Down the left side of the screen, click on Federal.
• Down the left side of the screen, click on Wages and income.
• Scroll down to Rentals, royalties and Farm.  Click on the down arrow to the right.
• Click on Start/Revisit to the right of Rental Properties and Royalties.
• At the screen Your 2023 rentals and royalties summary, select Edit to the right of the rental property.
• Move through the screens to Review your rental property info.
• Scroll down to Owner info.
• Select Edit under Real estate professional.
• At the screen Confirm you are not a real estate professional, select the correct answer.
