I already submitted my 2018 taxes, but going forward I want to use TT to do my taxes.  They are rather complicated as we own several rental properties each with unique characteristics.   Can I recreate my 2018 taxes on TT to etablish a base for 2019 taxes?  Are there any specific calculations or information we need from the CPA who prepared our 2018 tax returns?  thx DianeB

Yes ... buy one of the Downloaded versions to enter the 2018 info ... see if you can get the same bottom line.  If the CPA did not give you the depreciation  worksheets then get them now plus any other backup worksheets they may not have printed.  If you don't need a state or don't care to enter the state you can use the Basic version otherwise the Deluxe will work  and if you find you need/want extra guidance you can upgrade to the Home & Business version anytime.   You can usually buy the download thru reputable online dealers like Office Depot, Walmart, Staples, etc ... just be aware if the price is too good it is too good ... run away.
