reduced refund

My refund is $1500 short of what I filed for.  I looked up my account on the IRS site and I had this message:

You Have Payments to Claim on Your Tax Return When You File

Our records show you have payments applied to your account which need to be claimed on your tax return.

Estimated Tax Payments (You Paid)Type You Paid
Estimated Tax Payments$1,500.00

I thought I had included all my estimated tax payments in my filing.  Could I have included something on the wrong line?  IRS says it will send a letter in two weeks but I do not want to wait that long if I have to amend something to get my $.  thanks in advance.

It may be that the correct amount of your estimated payments was not entered properly on your tax return. You can look on line 26 on your form 1040 to see what amount you reported. If you have received your refund and determined that your return needs to be corrected, you can file an amended return in TurboTax.

You can file an amended return using TurboTax for no additional fee. You will see the option on your Home Page in TurboTax, then under Your tax returns and documents, look for an option to Amend/Change your return.
